Terfyn Mawr CL is open all year round. The site entrance is wide and easy to navigate, the approach to the field is wide and the whole site is level and firm. We can accommodate vans up to 9m in length.
The maximum number of caravans or motorhomes allowed on site at any one time is five, so there is plenty of space between pitches.
Free access to wi-fi is provided.
All pitches have uninterrupted views over the hills of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire.
Because of the location, the field enjoys peace and quite and a great opportunity for stargazing - weather permitting.
Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead on the campsite. A 3 acre dog walking field where dogs can be exercised off the lead is available adjacent to the camping field.
A shale track has been laid from the site entrance to the furthest pitch on the field. This ensures that access is available throughout the year.
The three hard standing pitches and both grass pitches can be accessed directly from the shale track.
The hard standing pitches have water and dedicated electric hook-up available at each pitch and cost £20 per night to include the first 12 kw hours of electricity.
The pitches that are laid to grass have water available at each pitch and shared electric hook-up available on request. Grass pitch none electric is £15 per night and with electric £20 per night..
Just a short walk down a path from the field, guests staying at Terfyn Mawr CL have use of a dedicated, warm and spacious shower room.
The shower room is equipped with a quadrant shower cabin with thermostatic shower, a pedestal basin and toilet.
Facilities are provided for emptying both grey water and toilette cassettes.
As we are not connected to mains drainage, to keep the septic tank and healthy, we ask you to use 'green' non-chemical fluid in flush tanks and toilet cassettes.
At Terfyn Mawr, we want our guests to feel that they are not crowded in.
All five pitches are along the eastern boundary fence line with plenty of space between them for you to relax in and with no other vans spoiling the view.
The Terfyn Mawr CL sits high up in the Carmerthenshire hills and enjoys stunning views across the hills to the sea. This is definitely big sky country!
